It is beautifully engineered and has a user friendly interface. The the overall appearance of the program is exquisite.

As soon as I opened Cascading Slides the first time, the program scanned my laptop computer and located photos in files that I didn't even remember I had in this computer. How handy and helpful is that?

These days with so many people using digital photography and downloading videos from various video sharing sites, I know there are millions of people who have no clue where their photo and video files are located nor do they know what's in the files they do have. Cascading Slides is an excellent personal and professional resource for locating, viewing, and organizing hundreds even thousands of video and photo files. I like the subfile option and the thumbnails that show on the left side of the screen. This feature is incredibly helpful. I also like how I can choose to open a photo in Photoshop CS4 Extended, as well as Photoshop CS3 (I have both installed on my high speed video editing computer) I also like how responsive the program is, and how I can get into Photoshop so quickly and seamlessly to do some last minute tweaking, resizing, and color correction.

The cascading thumbnails are very handy in that you don't need to blindly open random folders wondering what's in them. The program locates all photos regardless of the extension, and displays all the photos and video clips in the thumbnail at the left of your screen. I also liked the handy and user friendly (Caption/text) utility.

It's already saved me much time when I have a creative idea for some of our video work and need a quick thumbnail of my photo and video resources. Good job.
