TekWiFi is a Windows wireless connection and diagnostic utility, with particular support for networks using PEAP authentication. It lists available networks, shows the connected network's IP address, gateway and DNS servers, and can automatically provision PEAP client settings. Connection checks cover the gateway, DNS servers, hotspot and ISP homepage, with results savable to a text file. The interface also controls cipher-suite priority and TLS versions for supported authentication methods.

TekWiFi is a Windows utility for connecting to wireless networks and diagnosing connection problems. It is particularly useful in environments where a network uses PEAP authentication, which can require client-side settings in addition to selecting a network. The management interface brings wireless connection options and diagnostic controls together, giving users a place to review network details and configure supported authentication parameters.

The program lists available wireless networks and displays information about the network currently in use, including the assigned IP address, default gateway and DNS servers. These details help users check whether a connection has received network settings and identify which gateway or name servers the computer is using. For PEAP, TekWiFi can automatically provision client-side settings, reducing the need to enter those parameters manually. It can also detect when a hotspot login is required, helping distinguish a sign-in step from other connection faults.

For troubleshooting, TekWiFi checks connectivity by pinging the default gateway, DNS servers, hotspot and ISP homepage. The results can be saved to a text file for later review or sharing during support work. The application also provides controls for changing the priority of cipher suites used by Windows with PEAP and EAP-(T)TLS authentication. For PEAP and EAP-TLS, users can select the TLS version to use, choosing among TLS 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2. These settings are managed through the graphical interface rather than requiring separate command-line steps.

TekWiFi suits users and administrators who need to inspect wireless connection details, configure PEAP-related options or isolate common network access issues. Its checks cover several points along the connection path, from the local gateway and DNS resolution to hotspot access and the ISP homepage. Saving diagnostic output provides a simple record of test results, while the network list and connection details support routine checks when moving between wireless networks.

TekWiFi is freeware for Windows, including Windows 7 and 64-bit Windows 7, as well as Vista, Windows 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11. It is a small utility intended for wireless connection management and diagnostics; its authentication controls apply to the specified PEAP and EAP-TLS methods. The available TLS choices are 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2, so the program does not offer a TLS 1.3 selection.
