EML Viewer is a freeware Windows tool for opening EML message files exported by Outlook, Thunderbird and others. It shows message text, sender, recipient, subject and date, supports drag and drop, and exports message info to HTML or TXT. Attachments appear in a bottom panel and can be opened, extracted individually or saved all at once. Links can be disabled. It can also export EML contents to CSV and an attachments folder via command line.

EML Viewer is a freeware application developed by dalecoop. It opens EML files, a format that Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird and other applications can export messages to. These files normally cannot be opened without a specialized email client. The program is intended for users who need to open EML files, read the contained messages, export them to other formats or save attachments.

The program displays the message text in the main panel, along with the sender, recipient, subject and date. It supports drag and drop to open EML files. Message information can be exported to an HTML or TXT file. If attachments are available, they are displayed in the bottom panel. Attachments can be opened or extracted individually, or all can be saved to the hard drive at once. The program can disable links within the message to prevent accidental clicking.

EML Viewer can also export EML contents to a CSV file and attachments folder from the command line. The supported parameters are not well documented; only a single usage example is provided in the change log.
