Easy Currency Converter is a Windows program from Ashkon Technology LLC that converts international currencies. It is intended for users who need currency conversion when the Internet is not available. It runs on Windows 11, Windows 10 32/64 bit, Windows 8 32/64 bit, and Windows 7 32/64 bit. It is trialware, version 3.8.1.1, in the Business::Other category.

The main window has two drop-down menus, one for each currency, and two text boxes for entering values. This layout supports copy and paste. The program can calculate values for over 200 currencies. The lists are arranged alphabetically by country of origin, and pressing a letter skips to that section. Exchange rates are stored on the hard disk, so calculations can be performed offline. An Update button refreshes the local database; after a short delay, the program reports whether the refresh succeeded. It also provides a shortcut to the system calculator.

Limitations include a non-resizable window and drop-down menus that are short relative to the number of currencies. The source of the exchange rates is not disclosed, the rate provider cannot be changed, and this may be a problem for users who rely on decimal precision. Some currencies listed in the drop-down menu do not offer an exchange rate, which nullifies their listing. Overall, the program is useful for light conversions.
