Bug fix: For the "String: Get line number" step; which missed the last line if a blank line didn't follow it.

Bug fix: For the "File: Assign" and "Folder: Assign" steps; when you use the "?" picker option in the prompt but then cancel picking.
Enhancement: The Calendar is now colored by default by using the classic theme for it, but you can switch back to the modern theme in Settings if you prefer. Please note that the modern theme doesn't support coloring and will always have a white background.
Enhancement: The "Macro: Type keys or use mouse" step has had a couple of required internal changes. These changes won't affect your macros.
Enhancement: The systray animation of the app when a macro is playing no longer flickers rapidly if a macro is run repeatedly in a tight loop.
Enhancement: The "String: Compress" step has been updated for better text compression. Some examples: "rolls_on_floor_laughing" becomes "rofl", "Keep It *Simple*, Stupid!" becomes "kiss", "IMG_0136.JPG - IrfanView" becomes "img0136", "C:My DocsBudget.xls" becomes "budget", and "https://www.alomware.com/payment.html" becomes "payment".

Removed: The enhancement from the last update to fix the Windows desktop bug has been removed, as it was affecting taskbar thumbnails.

Bug fix: For the "Update Available" window, which had cropped buttons on desktops with a DPI that wasn't 100%. Thanks for the report, Robert.
Enchancement: Creating new folders from the Power menu now refreshes the target folder instantly, so the new folders are seen immediately instead of after a short delay.
Enhancement: Pasting a Registry key into the Command box (to open it in RegEdit) will now open a new instance of RegEdit specifically for it (so you don't lose your place in any existing RegEdit).
Enhancement: Sometimes trying to click the first thumbnail's text in the "Work Overview" window would fail. This is not a Toolbox bug, but a Windows bug (https://superuser.com/questions/1868863/why-can-t-i-click-in-windows-just-above-the-taskbar). AlomWare Toolbox fixes this issue by making that area clickable again.

Bug fix: For saved window opening states not always working for UWP apps (such as the Windows Calculator).
Bug fix: The "Action: Repeat this block" steps were not being selected when "Select block/routine" was chosen.
Bug fix: For the middle mouse button not showing the Power menu on UWP apps (you had to click very close to the top of it).
Bug fix: For the "ClipboardSave to desktop as a text file" default action. (A variable name had been changed but not updated in the action). Click the "Action Wizard" button in the "Automation" tab and then select "Add default actions" from the menu to overwrite the old action.

Major enhancement: You can now right-click an action's block or routine to collapse (fold) it, to hide/show the steps inside it.
Enhancement: After filtering a list (such as the Clipboard list), the list now gets the keyboard focus after the filter is applied.
Enhancement: The Clipboard and Screenshots lists now have right-click menu item called "Filter start", which filters those lists using the starting word of the selected item. For example, this is handy to select all "Notification" items in the Screenshot list without having to manually set a filter for them.
Enhancement: Using the "Action Wizard" function to save window states (all or current) no longer includes any of AlomWare Toolbox's windows, and now also includes each sound volume level for the window(s).
Enhancement: The "Window: Put inside other window" step now accepts "none" to specified, to take the assigned window back out of the other window that it was previously placed into.

Bug fix: When the app's window is minimized and you press its main hotkey to show it, it now shows again.
Bug fix: When setting a window's transparency from the Power menu, the transparency slider could be off the desktop if the target window was at a desktop corner.
Bug fix: When setting a window's opening state (and for PC States), the app could incorrectly remove the transparency layer of some windows (such as for "OpenStickies").

Enhancement: The "Clipboard: Assign text" now supports "{list:#}" as a value, to copy the clipboard history list item from that position (# = 1-100 only). For example, specifying "{list:1}" will copy the latest clipboard history item back into the clipboard.
Enhancement: The "Folder: Assign" step now accepts "active" as a value, so you can use this step as an alternative to the "Folder: Assign active" step.
Enhancement: The "Web: Download to" step now checks for the target's actual existence before downloading it. Previously this could fail if the target was missing, making this step inadvertently download a "404 Not Found" error file instead.

Restored: The keyboard tweak to auto-close pairs of: " ( { [. Seems this was a popular feature, but we had no idea because we don't monitor you. Just be aware that this feature can't work with macro recording or non-English keyboards (both of which is why it was temporarily removed).

Major addition: You can now select a window by searching for its title text in the Command box by using "@" as the prefix. This minimizes all windows except the matching one. For example, to select only the Calculator, you'd press AlomWare Toolbox's hotkey and type "@calc" to find and select it.
Addition: New action variable called "anywin$", which is 1 if any window is open on the desktop (including if minimized) or 0 if not.
Enhancement: The "Opening Window States" menu item has been renamed to "Saved Window Manager". Its window now has a wider "Source" column to see more text, and it also has a new "Unique ID" column to show the unique ID for each window, because some windows might appear to be duplicates when they're actually not (such as an app title and a folder title being the same).
Enhancement: The "Custom Process Killer" buttons now show tooltips when enabled and hovered over with the mouse; to show full process names that are too long to show on a button.

Preventative fix: For a race condition issue with other apps that monitor the clipboard, where they didn't follow Microsoft's guidelines and thus cause AlomWare Toolbox to miss some clipboard text.
Major change: Free temporary unlock codes are now available at AlomWare.com for free/trial users, removing the need to enter a usage code every day (or at every launch in a day). We'd still prefer you to pay for a license. ;)
Addition: New PC tweak for Windows 11 which lets you always see system tray icons for supported apps, with supported meaning apps that show such an icon. Normally you'd need to manually enable these to be seen with Win 11 in the Taskbar settings, but now you can see them all automatically. Enable this tweak in AlomWare Toolbox's Settings here: "Tweaks for your PC > Windows > Win 11+ specific > Always show system tray icons for supported apps".
