PTBSync combines internet time synchronization with a personal organizer and a customizable Windows taskbar clock. It can correct the PC clock using network time servers, compensate for clock drift and display UTC. The organizer manages recurring events, reminders, alarms and birthdays, while the clock can show seconds, date, weekday, moon phase and dates from several calendar systems. Events can be imported from iCalendar or exported to HTML.

PTBSync combines internet time synchronization, a customizable taskbar clock and a personal organizer for Windows users who want timekeeping and calendar tools in one desktop utility. It can synchronize the PC clock with network time servers and compensate for clock drift, helping keep system time accurate. The program also provides international UTC time and can record clock adjustments in a log for later review.

Its clock display can replace or customize the Windows tray clock, showing details such as seconds, date and weekday. A tooltip supplies additional date information, while options include transparent taskbar display and calendar or astronomical details such as Julian date and moon phase. It can show dates from Islamic, Jewish, Iranian and Coptic calendars, with Unicode support for weekday names in different languages.

The organizer handles appointments, reminders and recurring events. Users can set advance notices and follow-up reminders, play an alarm sound, display popup messages or launch a file at a scheduled time. Events can be assigned separately to different users sharing a PC, and birthday or anniversary entries can calculate a person's age automatically. Recurrence rules can cover particular days of the week, while the scheduler can also arrange a Windows shutdown or wake the computer from standby or hibernation.

Additional calendar tools calculate holidays for different countries and years, distinguish holiday types with colors, and create HTML calendars for printing or event records for sharing. PTBSync can import iCalendar events and includes calendar calculations for several supported calendar systems, as well as a moon calendar and an egg timer. These features suit home users who want reminders for personal dates, and anyone needing a local desktop calendar alongside a configurable clock.

PTBSync is freeware and supports Windows 7, among other Windows releases. Time synchronization can use HTTP through a proxy when standard network time access is unavailable. The program offers a wide range of settings, so users can configure only the clock and organizer functions they need. Its timekeeping, alarms and event entries are managed on the computer, making it a practical option for a standalone desktop rather than a shared online calendar service.
