When you used accentued or non ASCII characters into descriptions, the generators HTML / XMI / XMI2 was generaly not able to produce them right. To fix that problem I modified these generators. Anyway I also added the option force codec, unset by default, when it is set the behavior is identical with the previous releases.
A priori a good way to be compatible with any characters in BoUML is to configure the character set to be UTF-8 when you edit the environment through the global menu Miscellaneous. This is the default value now when execute BoUML for the first time (file .boumlrc not existing).
Recall : this environment is not saved at project level but own by you. When you modify this environment restart BoUML to take it into account in all cases.
Warning : if you change the character set then you load a project created/modified with an other character set, the accentued or non ASCII characters can be replaced by anything.
