Portable FotoSketcher 3.97 released Dec 16, 2024 (New Release)
The "No effect" filter (which used to simply copy the left image to the right pane) can now be used for more than just adding a frame or texture. It can also modify the luminosity, contrast, color saturation, sharpness and color vividness of the source image.

Here are the new features in v3.30:
new draggable cursor to interrupt an effect at x% (useful for some effects where the result can be interesting before reaching 100%)
possibility to load your own brushes for Painting 10 (in transparent .png format) and render with twice larger brushstrokes
new abstract effect (great for desktop wallpapers or phone and tablet backgrounds)

I have tried to improve compatibility with Windows 10 and reduce occasional window flickering.
There is also a new preview window next to the drop down list of effects.
I have also vastly optimized Pencil Sketch 1, which can be up to 3 times faster than before and can run on larger images before giving an out of memory error (I have successfully tested on a 7000x4000 pixels image).

the DPI default value has been set to 300 for better printing quality.
although transparency in PNG images (alpha channel) is not supported by FotoSketcher, transparent pixels will no longer appear black. They will now be converted to white pixels.
the donation screen (coffee cup icon) has been simplified and will lead to a unified PayPal screen.
when using JPG images, the compression quality has been improved for fewer artifacts (save to PNG or BMP if you want maximum image quality).

New keyboard shortcuts (left, right and up keys) to move the divider between the left and right panes. Works when the main window is focused, even if an effect is running.
