By default, numbers and symbols in passwords are painted with a different color to make distinguishing numbers and letters easier. To change that behavior, you can change the program setting Highlight numbers and symbols in passwords.
A new full-size Note field editor window can be invoked instead of the small in-place editor by holding down the Ctrl key when clicking a field to edit. When invoking edit via keyboard, hold down the Ctrl key when pressing F2. The full-size editor actually works for all fields except the Password field. To end editing in the full-size editor, press the Save button or Ctrl+Enter. Note that when the full-size editor is open and the file is automatically locked by the inactivity timer, any changes made in the edit window will be lost.
If multiple files are open, each file tab now has a close button similar to web browsers. To minimize clutter, the “file locked” icon is not shown for each locked file tab; now only unlocked file tabs show the icon. You can also close a tab by middle-clicking with the mouse.

To simplify the user interface, the folder property “default new item type in this folder” has been removed. The generic New item command that created a folder-specific type of new item is no longer available; use the general New password and New login commands instead. The New item toolbar button now shows a drop-down menu to choose the new item type. The keyboard shortcut Ctrl+N maps to New login.
