Java is no longer bundled inside the Zimbra Desktop package for Windows and Linux. Zimbra Desktop now detects and uses the Java available on the user's machine. As part of this development, a separate 64-bit Zimbra Desktop package is available for Windows.

New Features and Enhancements
Zimbra Desktop 7.2.5 includes updated branding, logos, and copyright notice.
Fixed Issues:
Fixed issue causing sync to cease when attempting to send email from a Yahoo! Mail Account. This affected all previous versions of Zimbra Desktop. Users are encouraged to upgrade to Zimbra Desktop 7.2.5 to avoid this issue.
Removed skins Lake, Oasis, Pebble, Tree and Twilight. If preference skin is not available, the default skin Carbon is used.

· Fixed issue causing selected language to revert to English (United States). Selected language now displays properly and does not revert.
· Fixed issue when canceling a single instance of a recurring appointment. The cancellation of an instance that has already been canceled no longer replicates as a SetAppointmentRequest in the server mailbox.log.
· Calendar localization issues have been fixed for de, pl, ro, fr, ms, hu, pt_BR and other locales.

64695 Fixed the issue where Briefcase check out/check in did not work in Zimbra Desktop.
72993 The filter sync user interface has been disabled when connected to ZCS 8.0 or higher. The Zimbra Web Client must be used to configure filters.
73201 Zimbra Desktop now uses a larger Java heap size if the system has more than 1GB of installed RAM
(-Xms 128m -Xmx 512m).
72969 Zimbra Desktop no longer prompts for a password when started in offline mode.
76883 Zimbra Desktop installer is now signed with a valid certificate for use on Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion).
77301 Fixed the issue causing mail folders to show HTML tags when collapsed.

Major New Feature Enhancements:
· Users can move folders to “local folders” in Zimbra Desktop by dragging and dropping the folder to the desired location in “local folders”. The folder move might take some time before the move completes, in particular if the folder contains many messages, but also because the process of moving folders happens in the background. The move process copies the messages to the destination, and then deletes the messages from the source. (Bug 42542)

Major fixes:

· Support moving folder from mailbox accounts to “local folders” account.
· Fixed possible MUST_RESYNC Error when performing SyncRequest.
· Share common GAL between accounts.
· Fixed error occurring when printing a contact.
· Recover deleted items is not longer available.
· User interface asks for consent to send heap dump to Zimbra.
· Ability to add appointments in local folders.

· Fixed issues that caused CalDAV notifications to appear as sent “on behalf of” when there was an alias for the account.
· GAL sync has improved performance and error handing capabilities.
· Contact information that includes custom fields, including “other phone” label, now sync correctly.
· Fixed the contact form to insert a space before the Postal Code so that the contact information displays correctly.
· Signature displays properly when replying to a mail.
· Signature setting must be set properly under Preferences > Signature.
· Changing working hours using Preferences > Calendar updates correctly.
· In the Calendar tab, you can open the Trash folder and permanently delete items.
· Zimbra Desktop logo on the account setup page has been updated.
· Contact information for birthday and anniversary are saved correctly in the Dutch (NL) version of ZWC.
· Zimbra Desktop starts up correctly and has improved performance in immediate restart after a shutdown.
