The program has been created as universal software for surveillance hybrid platforms functioning simultaneously with wireless and wired IP webcams, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the same appearance and functionality on the local and distant workstations. Customers view MPEG coded video and have complete management of the program using network that surveillance station can be run with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure extensively improves reliability because all parts operate as independent programs. If one module freezes, other components continue running. For example if the `record` unit freezes, `watchdog` starts over it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video through a `playback` part. The software makes `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by motion, human face recognition, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on distant station through Web interface. The software performs simultaneous video playback for event examination from many cameras simultaneously. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
