Diff Commander displays differences between folders in two panes (each for the folder). The pane consists of a set of columns. The general column displays the folder as a tree. Other columns displays the following information: the file size attributes, date and time. The "Actions" column is located between these panes. An action and a direction of synchronization are specified in each cell of this column.

With Diff Commander, your data can be visually synchronized between computers or to the LAN, FTP and to many kind of disk devices - floppy, USB disks, optical drives (RAM) and others. Moreover, Diff Commander can compare zip archives and interpret them as folders while comparing and synchronizing. Diff Commander can create a snapshot for synchronization of your data between two computers which have no a direct connection with each other (for example, between office and home computers).

This is the poorest softwate that I have ever actually paid money for. I can not get it to work in Windows 7 at all. I did use it in XP and it was useful but it does not appear that the programmers have kept up with Windows 7. Not only does it not work, the "help" information on their web site is outdated and there is no help at all in the program itself. As a registered user, I am very disappointed.
