DDT stands for Digital Disease Terminator and it is a highly configurable, flexible and intuitive application that can be used to run several anti-virus/anti-malware scanners. Typically these programs would be console applications able to accept file and folder paths passed to them by commands you create.

Support for 5 free command line anti-virus scanners is built-in, including AntiVir (scancl.exe), ClamWin (clamscan.exe), Emsisoft (a2cmd.exe), Ikarus (T3Scan.exe) and Sophos (SAV32CLI.EXE). More can be added upon request.

Installing anti-virus programs with DDT is as simple as clicking a button which will download, install, and configure the program. Up to 8 configurations for each program are automatically created after installation, 4 of which are for running on-demand scans and the remainder of which are for running full system scans. More can be created, saved and quickly recalled as needed.

Any of the scanning programs can be easily enabled, disabled, updated or uninstalled. Their associated command line arguments may also be independently enabled or disabled as well as edited to suit your needs.

DDT will run your installed programs either concurrently or consecutively to process files and folders you send to DDT using a variety of methods, including from the Windows Explorer “SendTo” context menu, QuickScan, Folder Monitor and more.

Not only can you run multiple programs with DDT, you can also run multiple commands for each program. This functionality makes it easy to update virus definitions before running a program for example.

· The DDT GUI and method of handling programs has been completely reworked with the goal of streamlining functionality and making DDT easier and faster to use.
· Each program now has its own tab with controls for enabling/disabling the program, updating definitions, saving/restoring the configuration, command line syntax help, viewing log files, installing/uninstalling and to visit program website.
· The Scan List occupies the main tab of the GUI and the quot;Commands to runquot; section is gone as it is no longer needed. The console is still used heavily, though interaction with DDT is done through message dialogs again (though there are fewer requests for user interaction)
