The MemoryGuard, InstallGuard, MBRGuard, Privacy Mode, and TamperGuard features block increasingly common sophisticated cyber-attacks that legacy antivirus cannot detect. Parental controls ensure AppGuard protections are enforced even with children log in with local admin rights. Memory Read Protection defeats RAM scrapers that steal credentials and other sensitive data out of an applications memory. Despite these advanced protections that legacy anti-virus/spyware do not provide, AppGuard is surprisingly easy to use and silent.
