It is an agent less product; the software is only installed on a central server. When the engine detects a failure, it alerts via e-mail, pager, SNMP Trap (SNMP v1 and SNMP v2c) notification or SMS message (support for TAPI, Unicode, TAP, UCP and SMPP).
